Home (and mood) improvement!
All of a sudden there are three men here redoing my kitchen floors!! I've cried at least 3 times since I woke up 3 hours ago and was really dreading the rest of my day and my life on my drive home from Malibu and then I pulled into my driveway and they were waiting there for me! What a mood booster. As long as I don't think about what a huge mistake it is to be spending money when I have been working constantly and still can't afford my mortgage, this should keep my buoyed for at least an hour!

You are investing in your biggest asset, think of it that way! (other than your wonderful self, but you can't put that on your tax returns...) You just need someone from High School Musical or something to move in nearby and your property value will automatically double in price (it's street cred, however will take a big hit).
You are so cute and hilarious. I should feel so lucky and grateful to have such a witty email and blog buddy instead of always wanting more and wanting you to move in with me.
Awwwww, I have finally, for once in my life, left someone wanting more! That'll change, I promise :) I am lucky to have someone who thinks I am witty and provides me a forum for it! I am excited to see the new kitchen floor (and all the food that will be made above the floor...a little more excited for that).
I am making carrot ginger soup tonight. Wish me luck. I do not have high hopes, but I have a LOT of carrots that need to be eaten.
I read this after I talked to you and was so selfish I didn't even ask about your soup. How was it??? I am currently heating an ultimate thin crust 4 cheese. Just for myself.
Hahaha, my soup was good. Little too watery (or chicken stock-y), and very carrotty, but I liked it. Enough to have 3 giant bowls of it. And a turkey dog. mmmmm.
