An undocumented sandwich

The night before last we made a feast of bahn mi (vietnamese sandwiches) and the cucumber salad that I made the other night with the apricot chicken. They are made of cold cuts, fish sauce, sriracha, cilantro, jalapenos, pate, carrots and radishes, and if you want, cucumber salad. And if you're disgusting, mayo. I know that doesn't sound like a great convergence of foods but take my word for it, there is something about it. Then we had ice cream cake. Cookies and cream with chocolate cake and maybe marshmallow frosting? Keely and I shared a piece. She may have loved it more than I did. She also ate head cheese. I did not. Alas, I have no pictures because I was pretty wildly hungover and also I usually forget to take pictures. Don't blame the hangover.

Big night at casa vega? I am so jealous. Thanks for posting, gives me something to do today between eating, thinking about eating, and reading about eating. Oh wait.....I'm making nachos for the football games this afternoon, and I have been excited about it since Wednesday.

Shelley, you're a lot more easy going about it than most. I didn't even know you loved mayo until two days ago, see?? Sugie, do you have any pictures of your nachos? I want to see!
