I made spaghetti sandwiches the other day. Spaghetti with delicious chunky tomato sauce with onions and garlic and zucchini and mushrooms all on a toasted roll with melted mozzarella on it and parmesan shaved over the top. It was great.
On a less delicious tip, I'm getting kicked out of my perfect little magical dream house and now I just found out single family dwellings do not fall under the rights of renters to get relocation assistance to the tune of $9040. So yeah. Talk about kicking a girl when she's down. Oh, your mom died? And you haven't been working all year and have used up all your savings? Well how about I make you homeless during this most momentous of economic crises. You and your little dog, too. That's nice.

wow, you should forward your landlady your blog. You might be allowed to stay for another 8 years :(
I am making turkey burgers tonight. Any suggestions as to how to make them super fantastic?
Yes, put the meat in a bowl and using the small holes on a grater, grate an onion over it, maybe half an onion. Then drizzle with a tablespoon or so of cream or half and half, which I'm sure you don't have and won't get and therefore won't do and add lots of pepper and some coarse salt and mush it all together with your hands, then make patties. And obviously, don't forget the pickle chips.
My roommate made them last week and I insisted he get pickles and he saw me trying it with no ketchup or mustard just cheese and pickles and said "I might just eat everything how you eat it from now on" I gave you your proper credit. MMMM can't wait for dinner. I have fat free half and half, but I am guessing that won't work. Thanks for sharing the secret recipe w/ me :)
Do not use fat free half and half. I don't even know what that is, but I doubt you should put it in food. And I hope when you made the burger last week you did cheese and pickles and TOMATOES?! That would be an embarrassing oversight that I wouldn't want credit for.
No tomatoes, we didn't have any good ones on hand. It was pretty damn delicious just the way it was, and I will happily take all of the credit for that. I'm off to go mangle some turkey burgers. I'm sure it will be a smashing success, especially since my test group doesn't have your burgers to compare them to. Only I know, and i can keep a secret in the name of competition! (and yes, I am aware that there is no competition, other than for who enjoys your cooking more, which I think I've got you on!)
How was the house?! Did you buy it?
