Dinner

My new favorite dinner, which I learned at the cafeteria in Reno go figure, and which I have eaten for the last two nights and will again tonight is a Gardenburger on a warmed bun with sliced tomatoes with Maldon salt on top of white cheddar cheese sliced veeeery thinly and melted on the patty, and the bottom bun is covered with pickles and pickled jalapenos and then the whole thing is smooshed down with your hand. YUM. Also, the whole thing is only like 4 points! If you know what that means, you're Sugie.

That sounds delicious, you have a knack for describing food incredibly well. It's the very thin cheese slice that got me. The morningstar black bean burger is also a good one. As is the "pizza" one if you need to switch it up. Raymond used to be a vegetarian, or else this would be a totally foreign world to me and I might mock you for eating veggie burgers. Good thing I know better!

I heard a thing on NPR this morning about how they have to move "downer" cows to slaughter with a forklift or a fire hose. I think I may be done with red meat. Chickens are stupid and ugly anyway.

EW that is horrifying. Can't wait to have my Tyson's pot roast, because I'm sure it's top quality....nothing like pre-cooked food for the masses....

Opted for frozen indian dinner with roasted asparagus and yogurt sauce. I am afraid of the potroast now. Maybe I should ship it out to Mary--it comes with the magic word....gravy!

What is the Indian dinner made out of?

This one was chicken masala--so it's brown rice with some peas in it, chicken and a semi-spicy tomato based curry sauce. The one I often eat is chicken tikka in spinach, which is tandoori chicken in a spinach based sauce with brown rice. There is also palak paneer which is cheese cubes in the spinach base with brown rice. All quite tasty, esp if you add sri racha mixed with yogurt, lemon juice and some herbs.
